Received Poster Award at the Japanese Society of Applied Animal Entomology

Mr. Akutsu (M1) of our laboratory received the 10th Poster Award from the Japanese Society of Applied Animal Entomology in 2022.

Here is the comment from Mr. Akutsu.
“This study shows for the first time that Drosophila ovata prefers to lay eggs on high-curvature (small-diameter) egg-laying substrates. This is a major discovery, as such a property is almost unknown in other insects.”
